Lauren Laake DeVlieger, Ph.D.

Dr. Lauren Laake DeVlieger is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with specializations in clinical child psychology and pediatric psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Northern Illinois University. Her predoctoral internship was completed at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School with a focus in pediatric psychology. Her postdoctoral fellowship was completed with the Psychiatry Consultation Service at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Laake DeVlieger works with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns. Her areas of expertise include adjustment to and coping with acute and chronic medical illnesses, anxiety (including phobias, panic, and social anxiety), OCD, depression, tic disorders, somatic symptom disorder, conversion disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and behavioral concerns across development stages.

Dr. Laake DeVlieger utilizes evidence-based treatments, which often include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and parent management training. Dr. Laake DeVlieger provides individualized treatment that builds on the strengths of patients and families, while addressing areas of concern. She also collaborates with medical professionals, schools, and any other relevant providers to deliver coordinated, thoughtful care.
